6 O'Clock Church
As a community, we welcome people from every background and walk of life. Jesus not only invites us to come as we are, but to become all that He created us to be. So come to 6 o’clock church as you are, but be transformed too! All welcome.
What to Expect
Our Sunday meetings are very relaxed and informal, with sofas, comfy chairs and benches, snacks on tables and a bar for refreshments. You’re welcome to come along at 6pm, get a tea or coffee, and chat. Shortly after 6 o’clock, we start with a time of worship, often with an acoustic feel. After this we share some news about what’s going on or coming up at King’s, and then we hear a talk presenting teaching from the Bible.
Our meeting takes place in Coffee Box at the Hastings Centre, The Ridge, TN34 2SA (opposite the Conquest Hospital) from 6pm until around 7.45pm, when the bar opens for alcoholic and soft drinks. If it’s your first time with us, we’d love to buy you a drink!
Aled is an elder who leads the Hastings venue and oversees the worship life. He is a qualified primary school teacher and enjoys spending time with his family and friends. Aled loves travelling and meeting people from different cultures… and eating their food.
God loves community. It has always been His intention that we build strong relationships, not just with Him, but also with one another. We run a number of Connect Groups during the week where you can get to know others from 6 o’clock church and build community together. Please visit the Info Point on Sundays to find out more.
