King’s Bexhill is a community that loves Jesus and loves Bexhill. We want to be a place where the people of Bexhill and the surrounding areas can come to hear about Jesus and learn what it means to follow him. People from all walks of life and of all ages come to King’s Bexhill, and we seek to be a place where everyone can feel a part of the church family.
Our Sunday meetings take place at the Izzard Theatre, Bexhill College, Penland Road, TN40 2JG. We meet at 10.30am, starting with drinks and a chance to chat with each other. We then have a time of worshipping Jesus through songs with contemporary music. After this we will share some news of things that are going on in and around King’s and then we hear a talk presenting teaching from the Bible.
We run children’s groups providing activities for under-12s every Sunday. These groups aim to give the children a really fun time while learning about Jesus. We also run a group for 12-18 year olds, during the talk, one Sunday each month.
Steve and Lori are enthusiastic to see the church growing strong and showing God’s love to the community in 1066 Country. They enjoy living in Bexhill and leading the venue there. When not busy with the church they love to spend time with their grown-up family and grandchildren.
King’s Bexhill is about more than just Sundays. During the week we have several Connect Groups meeting in homes across Bexhill, some during the day and some in the evenings.
We also have activities for our 12-18 year olds on Friday evenings. Some of these evenings are for youth from the Bexhill venue specifically, while for others our youth join with teenagers from the other King’s Church venues.
