Elderly & Isolated

LINK (Lunch in King’s) is a monthly lunch club for over 55s from Hastings & 1066 Country, providing fun, friendship and conversation for local older people, including those who are frail and can’t get out very easily on their own.

Elderly & Isolated at King's Church

Started in 2001, volunteers prepare a nourishing lunch. which is served in a warm and friendly environment and followed by entertainment or an activity. Up to 70 people attend each month. Usually the lunch is on the first Thursday of the month, with the Christmas Lunch in December being a highlight. In the summer months things are slightly different, with an afternoon tea in July and a coffee morning in August.
